The basic philosophy of the EBUS-Generator-C is the creation of software 'at the press of a button'.

The first version of an EBUS-Generator was developed in 1984. The generator then was written in BASIC and created BASIC source code for MS-DOS. Later the EBUS-Generator-C was developed. It was written in C and used to create C source code for MS-DOS and UNIX. Already then all programs created with the BASIC generator could be taken over into the C generator without any changes and be generated as C programs. After that a Windows version of the generator was developed. The principle of taking over existing programs was maintained: At the press of a button entirely functioning windows programs could be created without changing them.

The same applies to the Java version: All existing programs can be generated as Java programs without any manual changes. They therefore run immediately on many other platforms, even as applet in the internet!

This concept will also be maintained with all future advancements.
